Yoga classes, workshops and private sessions offered in Rancho Bernardo. Lisa's understanding of working with seniors, people experiencing cancer and other conditions informs her approach to yoga. Classes focus on fundamental poses and the many ways to approach them for each person. Chair yoga is a unique style of yoga that adapts traditional yoga positions and other poses to stretch and strengthen, relax and rejuvenate all while seated in your chair. In this class, we will practice the fundamentals of yoga, including guided meditation, mindful breathing and a series of seated yoga poses...without having to get down on the floor.
This class will help build strength and balance and reduce pain and stress and so much more! I hope you’ll join me.
Gentle Mat Yoga and Guided Meditation Mondays 1:00-2:00 Oaks North Community Center (Oaks North Residents Only)
This class is a gentle mat Hatha class that focuses on balance, yoga traditional poses and guided yoga nidra meditation. We limit the amount of getting up and down from the mat and often begin standing before moving to the floor portion. This is a gentle class and many modifications are offered to create a safe and valuable class for building strength, balance and inner peace.
