Movement and Meditation with Jim
Moving our bodies, we bring attention to what is present in our awareness. This all levels class offers safe options to explore asana and all that arises in the midst of a focused practice. The class will end with an extended savasana with elements of Yoga Nidra or guided meditation. Welcoming physical, energetic, mental, and emotional occurrences to witness and experience the awesome gift of being in the here and now. A new start to your day and week awaits with this exploration of movement, grounded in the felt sense and peace of meditation.
Hatha All Levels with Jim
Our Hatha All Levels classes are for students who are seeking to expand on the basic knowledge of asana.
This Hatha class offers longer held poses to build a foundation of strength and improve balance and flexibility.
Classes will explore more challenging postures as well as challenging combinations.
Connect to breath, body, and self in this class where you choose the level of intensity that you need.
Modifications and variations of the poses will be presented and welcomed.
Gentle and Chair Yoga and Guided Meditation with Lisa Marie
Yoga classes, workshops and private sessions offered in Rancho Bernardo. Lisa's understanding of working with seniors, people experiencing cancer and other conditions informs her approach to yoga. Classes focus on fundamental poses and the many ways to approach them for each person. Chair yoga is a unique style of yoga that adapts traditional yoga positions and other poses to stretch and strengthen, relax and rejuvenate all while seated in your chair. In this class, we will practice the fundamentals of yoga, including guided meditation, mindful breathing and a series of seated yoga poses...without having to get down on the floor.
This class will help build strength and balance and reduce pain and stress and so much more! I hope you’ll join me.
Gentle Mat Yoga and Guided Meditation Mondays 1:00-2:00 Oaks North Community Center (Oaks North Residents Only)
This class is a gentle mat Hatha class that focuses on balance, yoga traditional poses and guided yoga nidra meditation. We limit the amount of getting up and down from the mat and often begin standing before moving to the floor portion. This is a gentle class and many modifications are offered to create a safe and valuable class for building strength, balance and inner peace.

She brings a warm heart and a listening ear to every session.
